01 · What repeats
The schedule repeats. The invoice does not.
Each occurrence should be its own invoice with a unique number, invoice date, supply date and due date. RepeatInvoice takes the saved template and creates a new snapshot each time, so changing future invoices never rewrites the history you have already sent.
That makes recurring invoicing useful for retainers, support agreements, maintenance visits, memberships and any other predictable service where the description and price stay broadly consistent.

02 · The workflow
Create it once, then let the dates arrive.
Choose the customer, add the services or products, set VAT where applicable, and pick when the first invoice should go out. You can also decide whether the supply date matches the invoice date or uses the end of the previous period.
At the scheduled UK time, RepeatInvoice creates the invoice, stores the finished PDF, emails it to the billing contact and schedules the next occurrence.
03 · UK essentials
Automation still needs a complete invoice.
UK invoices normally need a unique number, supplier and customer details, a clear description, supply and invoice dates, amounts charged, VAT where applicable, and the total owed. VAT invoices require additional information.
RepeatInvoice collects those details before the schedule starts rather than asking you to repair an incomplete invoice every month.

Is a recurring invoice the same invoice sent repeatedly?
No. It is a new invoice created from a repeat template on each scheduled date. Every generated invoice has its own number and dates.
Can I change the amount later?
Yes. Edits apply to future invoices only. Invoices already generated remain unchanged as historical records.
What happens in February if I choose the 31st?
RepeatInvoice uses the last available day of shorter months, then returns to the chosen day when it is available again.
